Not only that, Mercy also explained that the body has its own mechanism to regulate the body needs nutritional adequacy. So if the body feels nutrient intake consumed by humans is too much then automatically be discarded these nutrients, like vitamins C and B. As with the Vitamin A, excess nutrients will be stored in the body as a backup.

“So the consumption of Vitamin C for instance, does not need to .1000 milligrams, because the body only need 60-80 milligrams,” he said.

Then when it is appropriate consumption of multivitamins and supplements? “If the body feels a lot less eating vegetables that contain lots of vitamins and fiber, just be taking supplements or multivitamins.
